![]() ![]() For unknown reasons, MS has taken it out in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update for the new Windows 10 installation and put it up for purchase for $1.50 in the Microsoft Store. Windows 10 used to come bundled with HEVC codec. Do let me know if you encounter any problem on those OSes. It should work fine on Windows 7/8 as well. This video encoder is header file only (H264Writer.h), based on Microsoft Media Foundation, not the old DirectShow due to Microsoft did not expose the H264 and HEVC codec on DirectShow. Meanwhile I write a series of short articles as a way to document this app. Right now, I am feeling burnt out so I am taking a short hiatus. I worked on this video encoder while writing my Windows Store App, Mandy Frenzy, a photo slideshow app for ladies. The focus of this README is on Video Encoder. All the video encoder needs from your side is a image buffer (to read from) and a few windows synchronization primitives. ![]() ![]() The OpenGL framework is to show you on how to integrate it with your OpenGL framework. You absolutely do not need the included OpenGL framework to use it. This is a header only video encoder for Windows. All the OpenGL Renderer required libraries are included in the repository. ![]()
